HA! I used to cut my tongue on the small opening they had cut out for a mouth hole. Alot of times what my mom did was just placed the mask on top of our heads like a hat. Then she would paint our faces to match the character we dressed up as. Growing up we had several different types of costumes. From the plastic store bought ones. To ones my mom made herself. Then theres the ones we made ourselves that I remember the most. LOL

wow, i remember these from the late 70's. my grandma taking me to the local shoppers drug mart and buying me one every year. they used to come in a cardboard box. it was basically a plastic suit you slipped into that tied in the back, and a plastic mask. when you would breathe the sweat would collect on the mask. awwww. memories!!!
