This is my absolute favorite werewolf movie

Say what you will-this was a damn scary movie when I saw it as a kid- especially the "guy walking in the woods" scene. If you've seen it- you know which scene I mean!

One of AIP's best films. Micheal Landon gave a sincere and powerful performance that raises the film from grade z to a solid b. Has some some really creepy scenes too.

This may have been the very first teen horror film ever.

Wow ... there's quite a lot more to be said for old black and white movies that people think.

This is the movie that the kids went to in Stephen King's "It."

That movie was the 'Nightmare on Elm Street' of its time. The people that made this film took an ancient folklore, and made it appealing to teenagers.
One more thing: the cop in this film was Guy Williams. In the 1950's he was Zorro for Disney Television. In the 1960s, he was Prof. John Robinson on 'Lost in Space.'
