Dr Lisa Duizer, Assistant Professor in Food Science at the University of Guelph, Canada, visited the Regional Food Academy at Harper Adams this week to deliver a seminar about the perceptions of tastes and flavours in foods.
Dr Duizer's research interests include the sensory evaluation of whole grain products, as well as studying the temporal perception of salt taste in reduced salt foods.
