I suspect it was some sort of a trade show demo (perhaps a software package or even the hardware setup itself). Very high-end setup (desk, chair, ambient lighting, mounting hardware, custom moldings...very specialized stuff). Could be a package for some sort of (mil) training bid. It would be interesting to know the story behind the production.

Heh, the production values lead me to think it's a bit more than a somebody's basement setup. It appears to be a "studio" environment with that lighting. The camera angles and cuts prove it's a well-scripted display.

Yep. I noticed the G15 and the HOTAS. I swear I've seen the little switches they have mounted under the monitors, as well (but I can't find a link to them). The desk/lighting/console/seat is a pretty fancy rig (especially the seat and molded mounting). It may not be military, but it's certainly not the average gamer's setup.

Yeah, my guess is that it's some sort of promotional or tradeshow clip for either the hardware or software package.
