"Hell's Kitchen" - Milwaukee's Worst Kitchen

I haven't been inside every kitchen in Milwaukee, so by the rules of probability, I can only make the hypothesis that our kitchen is the worst. The facts I have proven are that it's specifically the worst room in our house.
My wife and I recently bought our first home together. What a thrill that was! All of the pride that came with that was hard to deal with, having empty wallets. We managed to fix up almost every room in the house, except the kitchen. That's when I was fired from my job.
My wife and I haven't been able to prioritize a kitchen-remodel these days. Even after I find full time work, we have a lot of debt to pay back. We simply can't afford to have a kitchen with functional cabinets that match, a functional sink faucet and pipes that don't leak, undamaged drywall, undamaged cutting boards, working appliances, functional storage, or correctly installed floor tile. Not without winning a kitchen contest, or something.
Are there worse kitchens in Milwaukee? Possibly. Are there worse kitchens in my house? No. Biased or not, that's the most important kitchen I can think of.
