When it comes to Afghanistan, what are President Obama's priorities? Giving the troops the resources they need to win the war or going to fundraising events?
I agree. His priorities are backwards. That being said, I was deployed to Afghanistan as an airborne infantryman and there isn't much of a "debate" in Washington. The "debate" is whether or not to add an additional 20-80000 troops. Not pulling out or not which should be the real debate. Our country is bleeding out money in Afghanistan when we already ran out of it. It will become a crushing burden to ourselves and out children if we continue. Do not let history repeat itself.
Exactly my friend, it's time to depart. Thank you sir for your service.

Excellent perspective and perfectly titled.
At the cost of seniors, soldiers, capitalism, our reputation, and anyone else in his way.
His priority is extending power. Period.
