That's always the claim NeoCons make. Almost every Democrat that runs for president in the U.S. is a radical liberal, their scary, elitist, they'll ruin this country for sure...fear FEAR. The Republican candidate (x) is safe vote for him.

There are many true conservatives and independents that hated what has happened in these past 8 years.

Hahahahahahaha.... We could fit the amount of Republicans that voted for Obama because they truly believe in his policies inside my basement with room left over. However, I may know 1 or 2 Republicans that voted for him because they realized that this slow road to socialism was going to go so slow we would never know what happened after a while. A few Republicans voted for him because they wanted people to WAKE UP. And it worked!

It's clear that Obama's positions are not even in the most vague terms something that lifelong Republicans could endorse. From his abortion stance to his "Huge Taxation Plan of 2009" to his promise to send tens of billions more of our money to other countries.

Now if you hear someone claim they switched to Obama from conservative ideals, they are most definetly an ultra-liberal pretending in the attempt to sway Republicans to actual vote for Obama in November.

This is Operation Chaos. Rush Limbaugh's baby.

Republicans were told to support Obama to bring down Hillary. Once the tides were turned and Obama was far ahead in the polls, Limbaugh had us vote for Hillary to extend the Democrat nomination and create dissention in their ranks.

As you see now, it worked. Millions of Hillary supporters are not voting for Obama and their convention is already setting up to be a fiasco

Not necessarily. I am registered as a Republican, and agree with my party's platform, and would normally vote Republican. In fact, if there was a Republican being nominated for President who could be counted on to stick to the platform, I'd vote for him. Since we are stuck with McCain, I am willing to switch sides for this election because Obama may be the better man, and because I am sure that it will cause some deep thought for the Republican party leaders.

I really hope lots of republicans vote for Obama. I watched this video about W. Virgina and those people didn't like Obama because of his name or the color of his skin. :( or "they didn't know anything about him" that is hard to believe. If you didn't know about someone who was going to run your country wouldn't you do research...
