Am I the only one that was completely disgusting when she was talking about her drinking her milk as a baby and how she brought her close and smelled the breast milk? all the weird detailing and everything....

Ay, ay, ay, you know we llive in a hypersexualized culture when a top comment is 46 people agreeing about being grossed out by a mother recounting her fond memories of breastfeeding.

It's not gross! She's watching her child slowly kill herself. It's comforting to remember a time when her daughter couldn't get enough of food, which at it's heart means, when she couldn't get enough of life!

This is for @SWEDofmylife and inquiring minds... There you fucking go assuming again. I was not making fun of anorexia, for the umpteens time. I was angry at the character in the movie choices, she got on my last nerve. Knowing what cost the death of her friend, knowing she was sick and needed help, knowing that her body was failing, falling out everywhere, she didn't give a thought to her parents or her sibling.

All she cared about was her self and to me that's not only selfish but suicidal. That made me damn angry and that's why I said what I did, had nothing to do with anorexic at all nor did I mention the word!

It's like watching a crackhead who knows crack cocain will lead to death and still they keep right on doing it,

it's like watching an alcoholic sober at the time yet deliberately go out and get drunk and get behind the wheels then kill somebody and say they didn't mean to do it. Granted this is only a movie we're watching that's some what based on reality. But we're not talking cancer here, and I am sick of people that are not naive excuses with illnesses that can be prevented yet they take no action to stop it.

It's like being diabetic, you know fatty food and sugar can kill you yet you keep right on eating it. If you can't stop yourself, there's plenty of help out there, but first you have to want the help, you have to stop fighting the help and if you can't do that. Good bye! That's right, say good bye to family and friends you will leave behind to grieve and mourn for you, suffering at your loss because you were to stupid, selfish, thoughtless and cruel to help yourself and save your own life.

They can lock a person up, force them into rehab whatever... but if that person don't want to stop, they won't and that's, that. As cruel as they may sound, it's true.

So no, I WAS NOT MAKING FUN OF ANOREXIA, nor was I making fun of the character and I definitely wasn't making fun of real people who is or ever struggle with this disease and had you came at me right and approached me with respect, we would not have been arguing and insulting each other intelligence.
