Naja, deutsche Polizeiautos blinken nicht wie ein Weihnachtsbaum. Bei der ganzen Reizüberflutung in Amiland ist das wohl nötig, aber hierzulande reicht ein Blaulicht.. :-D

It's nice to see my car still making the rounds on the Internet. Yes, it's my car. This was put together back in 2006 and 2007 for fund raising purposes for children charities. It has since been decommissioned and is now back to a plain old X3. Sure was FUN while it lasted. :D

Nice work o imitate a Bavarian police car (and there are still the new ones are silver and green).

It had only been a shield too much because german police is not payed by the city. It's run by the states and the federal police by the federal republic (their shield is a federal eagle inside a police star).

In germany it would be illegal to have the police warning lights on the car if it is not police or red cross...

@TheAircrack almost: some german state police services keep their cars green-silver, also the newest deliveries. And it's not all over Europe, just the EU, where they should switch to blue. E.g. Norway (not in the EU) has white police cars with blue-white-red stripes. And now they want to change the stripes to yellow and black, so they actually remove the blue from their cars
