    Now that the front line is officially in Damascus, I believe that Assad should give up. Damascus has a population of almost 2 million and a large portion of this city will be killed, injured, or have to flee and the city will become a huge pile of rubble with all its historical heritage destroyed - just like Allepo. If Damascus is destroyed over the course of this conflict - it will take Syria decades to recover & may even become a puppet state to a stronger neighboring country such as Iran...
