Thanks so much for your comments. I can no longer play classical guitar properly due to arthritis in my hands. However, I have gone back to playing electric guitar (after a break of 25 years!) which is much easier on the fingers and thumbs. Perhaps I'll upload something one day. Given the vast difference in style and sound, I don't suppose those who like my classical guitar playing will enjoy the electric guitar stuff. But you never know...

i believe that your self came out in the music, and that's what's important. Yes it is one of the finest works ever written from a legendary composer but if we all played the song the same then we would all be the same, and not one of us would ever be as Beethoven was. Our own unique character comes out when we feel, and we feel the most when we play our music. Play it as you will, I loved it. Excellent work and keep it up my friend. by listening, i feel that i know how you felt on that stage

Thanks for your comments. Yes, I reckon you do know how I felt on that stage when I played the piece. However others experience it, including now on YouTube, it was a magical few minutes for me. Huge risk playing one of the best known classical piano pieces ever composed in such a different way, but hey, I took it! It's very pleasing to come across another person who understands what it was I went through. Cheers.

Oooh my god this is so beautiful. I have listened to this song many times, different interpretations... and yours ... well Im mesmerized, hypnotized. I started to learn classical guitar 2 years ago and I'm starting to see some progress ;) I would love to start learning this song. Do you have the music sheet? could you send it to me ? @eddieb8 not true i come from electric guitar background and am now studying classical and i love both especially when classical gets played with some rock influence ect.. they actually are both really amazing ^_^

I gave your performance a "like" for its uniqueness. Playing almost the entire piece over the f hole is very pleasing by contrast to other renditions, but by the same token it's somewhat overdone. I think a combination of several right-hand positions would have been better, but that's certainly a matter of taste. Overall, well done!
