  • is this the same size length from side to side as the ones you can buy

  • @umdterp999 Yeah, these measurements work well for an average size guy and girl. I am 5'10 and my girlfriend is 5'6 and it works perfect. We put the bracing on the outside so that we could do pull ups that you see at 1:35. Have fun!

  • @jimbobslee What are the dimensions of this station? if you don't mind me asking. I'm looking to get one to bump up my summer workouts. I'm about 5'5 would this station work for me?

  • @Hinote6713 The dimensions are all at the end of the clip...it is probably just best to watch the end and pause each angle as your draw it out. It is pretty simple to follow. Let me know if you still need a hand.

  • welldone mate, thanks for the vid, very inovative, am gona do this tomorow, thanks, dan uk

  • @janniex0x right on...let me know if you have any questions...it works great...my girlfriend and I use it all the time, jim canada

  • I use two chairs.. it means I can adjust the length and change the focus from chest to triceps ;)

  • GOOD JOB!!!!

  • should also be 2 2" pipe insulators

  • This as shown should require more than four 8 foot pieces to build. 4x36" + 4x23.5" + 3x24" + 3x34" is 34.33 feet four 8 foot boards would give you only 32 feet and that assumes you have no waste pieces. The three and two feet cuts should leave very little waste but it would still require a fifth 2x3 eight footer I believe.

  • Using basic geometry I have estimated 34 inches on the angled diagonal cross support bars. Can you confirm this?

  • Very nice work and vid. Cheers for ingenuity.

  • what's that all aboot eh?

  • He must workout

  • @beloit22 Anytime Bro'...The "Best dollar", is the one that "Stays" in your pocket!

  • @beloit22 Shit man. You saved me some serious cash. Thanks!

  • Thanks man. I wasn't looking to spend all that money on a factory manufactured one either.

  • @jimbobslee Ingenuity !! I have a used "Walker" that works great!! hold up to 300lbs. You can find them for $5.00- $10.00 bucks.

  • very good!! I like it!

  • Great Idea!!

  • @jimbobslee alright thanks, when i have time ill probably do this and im around 5 10 as well so it should be good

  • That's all you need dude, I use a walker for my dips , Cheers!!!

  • nice bro, thnx for sharing!!

  • Yo man, my father and I used your idea for this type of dip bar and we made a solid similar version of the way you made yours...we had all the supplies layin around the house to make it...we didn't spend a dollar...thanks for the help, peace

  • Great work dude, gonna give it a try.

  • It works but the bracing you have there isn't bracing much. It should be on the inside of the frame, not the outside, to perform at full potential. Inspirational, thanks!
