The Best of '08 Series: Episode 1

This is the first episode of the series. This series includes great shots and great catches. After all of the best videos are shown, the last episode, "The Best of the Best" will premier, which is a compilation of the top 3-4 best catches and shots respectively. Enjoy!

Train 1: A BNSF H1 Dash 9, an H2 Dash 9, and a csx YN3 GP38-2 leads Q380 through Berea

Train 2: a B&O caboose is on the tail end of a northbound CSX local in grafton.

Train 3: An Ex-Conrail SD50, BNSF GEVO, and a Santa Fe Dash 8 lead an intermodal train through Berea

Train 4: A nice pair of CEFX locomotives sit behind a CSX dash 8 and an AC6000CW

Train 5: Two UP SD70Ms and a Dash 9 lead a manifest through Rochester

Train 6: The unlucky Amtrak #48 Lakeshore Limited finally pulls into rochester after a small fire broke out in a roomette

Train 7: An HLCX locomotive in the form of an EX-BN rolls through Batavia behind a CSX GEVO

Train 8: A nice, all UP consist rolls through Batavia: SD70ACe, Dash 9, and SD60M

Train 9: A geometry CSX trackwork unit rides the rails in Batavia

Train 10: an Ex-conrail Dash 8 standard cab in CSX YN2 paint blows its nearly PERFECT horn as it nears Donahue Road in Batavia.

Train 11: This falls under the category of great shots. An S-Curve in North Chili hosts an eastbound intermodal train. The shot was taken from an abandoned bridge abbutment.

Train 12: This is just a nice meet in Olmstead Falls on a bright, sunny day with a great, blue sky.

Train 13: A nice ex-soo locomotive, now leased by CEFX, plays a roll in the consist of an eastbound manifest in Olmstead Falls

Train 14: In Berea, a BNSF SD40-2 and a GEVO lead two new deliveries for BNSF westward.

Train 15: This is a nice shot from ground level of a CSX manifest in Berea

Train 16: A UP SD70M, UP Dash 9 and a CSX Dash 8 lead a manifest through Berea. My aunt kinda got in the way of the shot =/

Train 17: Two NS Dash 8s lead a roadrailer through bedford, the lead unit blasting a great leslie

Train 18: A CEFX SD40-2 is the second unit in a 2 unit lashup on an NS manifest in Berea

Train 19: Two nice SD40-2 High-hood locomotives and a GP38-3 (Rebuilt from a GP50) lead a manifest in Berea

Train 20: A CSX SD40-2 with a crazy, sick horn rolls through creston on the point of an autorack train.

Train 21: An NS Dash 9 and an Ex-Conrail Dash 8 lead a trailer train under the Rockside Rd. Bridge on the Bedford/Maple Heights border. Also a nice change in scenery.

Train 22: An ex-Conrail SD50 with it's original, awesome horn, a BNSF GEVO, and a CEFX/CITX SD70M-2 (One of only 3 owned by CEFX) lead a coal train through bedford. Definitly an awesome catch to conclude episode 1!
