Although I have been in the medical field for almost 30 years, I would still say that it is probably common sense among normal people that repeated head strikes are bad for any brain let alone a growing brain. @mwhich50 they have head gear and take most of the shots to the forehead, the thickest part of the skull and one of the strongest bones in your body. most fights in childrens martial arts don't end in knockouts, but either tko or judges descision. plus, these kids choose to do it because it's something they love, not because their parents make them. when i started, my parents only let me because i wanted to, so stfu

It's always been a bit of a pet peeve of mine to hear ADULTS encouraging a child to "HURT" another child, or bang and yell in anger in general!
I don't object to these boys engaging in Muay Thai...but I sure do wish some people would tell some of these adults in the audience to STFU!
