On this movie you can see that Alpacas are calm and seem to be slow. But Alpacas can run fast and jump high. They mostley demonstate that only when they are young.

The alpacas are a bit nervous when you approach them. Some are more willing to be petted then others; of course they feel very soft when you get the chance.
