  • Looking back in time, it is hard to imagine why cars were designed with un-fused circuits.

  • John I just bought a 1978 mgb roadster. Runs great, engine looks well taken care of. I take the car for a test run to get it hot about 20 minutes. After the ride sometimes not all the time when i try to restart the car it acts like the battery is dead starter turns slow and will not start.Sometimes after playinwith the ignition key it will crank and start as normal. I changed the battery and the alt looks brand new. I get 12.48 volts on the battery all the time. any sugg. thanks steve

  • Great info. Mine is the same color and year it looks like and my clock is In/Op. Better R/R the clock and put a fuse in the circuit at the same time. Thanks John.

  • are the rear turn signals on a mga 1600 part of the unfused parking light wiring?
