god you dont know how much I want to go to tokyo! I mean I am not just some anime fan or something I mean I have been in love with japan ever since I was 4 years old! im 15 now. and seeing videos like this, maybe not the weird music in this, but seeing this and listening to my j-music I really want to go there and I am going when I am old enough.

I am an American who has lived in Japan for 7 years. Trust me, Japan is not the Disneyland you think it is. I am not trying to break your spirit, but just don't inflate those hopes of finding utopia too high. And how dare you called Nine Inch Nails' music "weird"!

lol comparing shanghai wif tokyo?? 1) tokyo the center of japan whereas in china the ppl are all scattered into more than 10 different cities.2)shanghai jus recently experience economic boom n development bak in 1990 where tokyo received development aid from US after WW2.3)tokyo is a already a developed city where its population has 100% literacy rate whereas shanghai receive thousands of migrants wif low literacy rate from rural china each year. pls don criticize shanghai be4 u do some research

Tokyo DOES NOT have a 100% literacy rate. YOU need to do some research. I run into people daily who can't read kanji.

hey mate. I spent over a week in Shanghai last month. There were no more beggars than any other chinese city but the saddest aspect was definitely the child beggars. They grab you when you're trying to walk and they're absolutely tiny. Its hard not to give them money but believe me you're doing them a favor if you don't. If they recieve 'beggar' money when they're young it reinforces that they can do this to live for the rest of their life. sorry for the lecture. peace

@Senyorpiroteknik The highest praise to Tokyo I have seen. I used to write to email about Japanese that they worked under capitalism but he replied that he doesn't think so. I don't quite agree with him until I know more about Japan.

Dont be silly, there is no significance in that comment. The literacy rate is 99% in japan, yet those who are literate state that they too find Kanji hard. You make it sound like the people you ran into can't read any Kanji and if that is true, what percentage do they make up. You comment is lazy.
