This may be my last GH guitar vid ever. I tried playing today and my hands were getting all cramped, but I still have some speed in my GH fingers. Almost all the mental skill is still there, but the physical part is definitely lower. I've adapted to drums and piano for the most part, and I'm too used to the action on piano keys to go completely back to GH. I feel like it would be too difficult and a waste of time to share the mental and physical power between too many instruments and hobbies.
I've been playing drums lately, and I could get back into rhythm game drums. However, I'm off to college very soon, so having my Rolands there would be difficult, and it would be even more difficult to have my Rolands and an Xbox 360 in the same room. However, I'm going to a computer science department that is closely tied to video games. If I bring the idea up, who knows? It could become a project (There are projects such as manipulating wii remotes to do certain stuff).
I could be making some original songs. I may decide to upload a film score or two I've created, although I may use an alternate account. I'm trying to avoid the synth music route for now. Imo, much of the synth music out there isn't too good. If I do get my hands on some recording equipment, I'll be able to do covers and original songs.
Depending on who's at college and whom I'm around, I may upload different videos on this channel or none at all. If they like YTPs, I'll do more of those. If they like my GH playing and encourage me to play, I'll upload some of those. That could possibly lead to some performance mode videos, since, like I said before, my mental game is almost all there.
Now, about this video a bit. You may notice that the blue lightning around the fretboard may occur before I actually activate SP. This is because I cropped and masked two layers. One was for preventing the black on the fretboard/other parts from disappearing, and the other was for the background. This wasn't the most efficient way, but it worked. For some reason, the video took an abnormally long time to process, and something must have gone out of sync at some point. However, the timeline was perfectly synced up, so idk what happened.
I already have a few college credits under my belt, and my freshman year is going to be smooth. All my classes are programming and math oriented, so I won't have to worry about other subjects for the time being. This may open up some free time, but idk.
I may use my free time for things other than rhythm games. There's this talk about rhythm games being dried up, and I wouldn't want to get back into it competitively if the genre is one of the most unpopular ones. GH is done (most likely), Rock Band is oversaturated with songs and wouldn't even be able to expand much with a new game (people may not even buy it), and the similar games are flops.
I think that's nearly everything. I'm probably gonna have a ton of free time during the summer. Idk what that means in terms of youtube videos, though. I do have a few old RB videos (such as Avenged Sevenfold guitar FCs and whatnot), so I may upload those. And that youtube poopaganza w/e will probably be made sometime.
EDIT: Oh, and I made this chart and everything. Just to let you know. It may look similar to another chart out there.
EDIT2: I checked, and this is my official 100th video! (iirc, it's actually 102, but that doesn't matter).
Scroll back up, your missing the video!
