Jesse James Kosakowski wins another event for the 50th time. He was taken by surprise having to use a gi here. No punches to the face, only kicking to the head and 30 seconds on the ground. It was a tough fight with tough rules but he prevailed.

  • Not quite sure why he won, as I figured he was to defensive on the ground.

But great to see such passion in the kids :)

  • @little1337 The smaller guy...Jesse...took him down more, got more hits in and got dominating position more. Thats why he won. Jesse is not familiar with the gi at all. At eh PSDTC, it is no-gi grappling so that screwed up his ground game but he still did it. The kid was so much bigger than Jesse it was not easy for him to get in with strikes. Luckily he has good footwork.

  • That was one nerve racking event. Jesse has good technique, luckily. The size difference was amazing here. It shows martial arts is not just for big strong people.

  • good stuff

  • Great show of fortitude and skill of course. Not to mention the size difference!!!!

  • Yet another example of the world class training at PSDTC and the talent of Jesse. Great effort and adaptation to some pretty weird rules. I love the sidekick from clinch in round three. I can't wait to see fight again.

  • Nice Jesse, as usual! You prevail no matter the obstacles, and your blocks to his kicks were extremely impressive!

  • He did a great job for the crappy rules he was given. Good adaptation

  • Great stuff from both youngsters. The bigger kid's reach with those body punches and few body kicks was brutal but Jesse handled everything really well. I think the audience was much more worried about Jesse than I was. It looked to me like he was doing well especially in the first round with a couple of very close rounds after that.

  • Goodtimes Ron...the other kids height was a disadvantage without head punches...Jesse did great!
