"I need to feel this" "Hope I see you again"

are all phrases that indicate that! And the most important "..voice still echoes inside my head, but for the first time IT IS MY OWN" !

Don't also overlook the fact that the movie ends with the sun rising--->probably the beginning of his life?!!!

Besides, in any movie with angels you may watch..."falling" means exactly this! ;)

When a angel falls it's the only way to 'become' human, for a angel to give up their divinity and special abilities they need to fall. Hence 'falling is the last thing a angel feels', we can also see this in city of angels when Nicholas Cage decides to fall to become a human. Gabriel jumps and falls to become a human, because Archangels cant understand all the human emotions since they're higher beings. If he becomes a human he can understand it all. Hope this brings some clarity!

@THEBLAHBLAH35 Yea if they die as Angels they die indefinitely. But Gabriel let himself fall and to show freewill like that he becomes mortal and his soul is allowed to be reincarnated. Or at least that's what I think.

Why a gorgeous and talented man like this had to die is completely beyond me... especially when there are people out there sitting on their arses smoking dope and doing nothing fuck all with their lives... and they'll prolyl reach an old age... Andy Whitfield, you will be missed... what a tragic loss >.<;;;;

God.....I was hoping, waiting for Andy to return to the silver screen and be given a chance at something bigger so that he could break out fully onto the world stage. And now we'll never get that privilege. He had so much potential, and now he's gone.

i think that is why this scene is probably the most important of his career, it truly shows the great things we could have seen from him.

I don't' think he's falling. No. He's ascending. May he live like a King in Heaven.
