  • There is a great rendition on Milt Jackson's album "Goodbye". Hubert Laws, Cedar Walton,Steve Gadd,Ron Carter - one of the best modern jazz albums ever

  • Another song I can listen to for hours, also Benny Goodman version plus Dinah Washington

    and others

  • Who is singing please ?

  • Beware to those who let that certain someone get away--this masterfully arranged song may haunt you forever...

  • I play clarinet and wanted to be Benny Goodman since I was in first grade in 1956 but this song says so much more with the words. The sentiment can't be matched by any other song I have ever heard. Classic statement and response by the chorus. I think this is better than Frank Sinatra's version because of that.

  • PLEASE SOMEONE TELL ME WHO PERFORMED THIS, I can't find this version anywhere...

it's not on the collection it shows in the picture.

  • Published in 1935 by Gordon Jenkins

  • excelent ,my favorite nostalgic song, I love the benny goodman version but this is also a beauty, because it takes care of the original instrumental arrangement of goodman.
