This is a Johnson Russell Santa Fe 100 train set from sometime just after WW II. The company was based in California. Obviously a very toy like, inexpensive train, it was made for two rail O gauge operation. The coaches and engine only have four wheels. This is a spare locomotive I converted to a Marx double reduction motor to allow running on my existing track. The original loco will remain two rail.
It has taken a bit of fiddling with washers on the axles to get the wheels spaced good enough to run decent.
