I was/am extremely skeptical about this merge. I agree on what this guy is saying about how it makes a great car company shit, but on the other hand this is mainly something that needed to happen and I kind of agree with the guy on the phone also. By the way reading most of the comments below, Fiat is obviously the shittiest car company in Europe, no doubt about that lol being that Germany's Car company's are obviously far more superior and Lotus (The Swedish Car Company).

I am getting my grandpa's used 2001 Monte Carlo SS when I get my G1 license.

All I can say is that the American/Canadian made engines are far superior compared to the cheap crap that is manufactured in China. When comparing an American made automobile to any one made in East Asia, there is NO comparison. Just because it's cheap and eco-friendly doesn't make it good.

Well Fiat at least isn't on the verge of bankrupcy and is a far bigger manafacturer of cars than Chrysler is. Chrysler superior to Fiat? That's like saying a fart from an elephant is superior than a fart from a mouse, because the former makes a lot more noise. They both suck, at least Fiat is making a profit.

Back when I went to taverns.I use to listen to the chrsler plant workers in St.Louis brag about the damage they done while they were at work.Also how they didn't do shit.They could not be fired because they were with the UAW.Looks like it happened.Work like the rest of us ASSHOLE.

I don't think Maserati was crap, but I do think that Americans are selfish and need to support our car makes and econ more! Why the hell would anyone get a Maseriati?like they don't look anythin special, why not a Dodge Viper, Corvette ZR-1, or Ford GT?

ok something more realistic, a teacher was trying to decide between a Camry/Accord. I said go for the new Checy Malibu cuz I have one and love it. She jumped on me going like "US cars = crap!" and didnt give a damn the malibu was car of the year!

I want a Fiat. I am an American. Savage, you're wrong about how terrible Fiats are. My dad's Fiat lasted him years, they're EXCELLENT cars! My teacher owns a Fiat and he's had it for a very long time. I'd buy one in a heartbeat if I had the chance. Fiat might not be as good as Chrysler, however they are not bad cars in any way.
