Lady truck driver 3

January 1990. Rosie Fearnley picking up a tanker loaded with 27000 litres of ammonia liquor for delivery to a farm near Colchester, Essex.. The truck is an Iveco 220-36 twinsteer, 360hp with 16-speed ZF Ecosplit transmission. At 5'3" and 7stone / 98lbs she had to have the air supply to the drivers seat disconnected or it lifted her up till she couldnt reach the pedals!

I would never be able to get use to the fact sitting on the right side and shifting with my left hand, I think I would have to learn to shift all over again. Looking at the setup seems like someone flipped the film over...:))

@Csabika30NY I think you would soon get used to it. We had a left-hand-drive Diamond T 981 tank transporter, and it wasn't that hard to get accustomed to. We feel quite at home in LHD hire cars in Spain too :o)
