Great Grandmother Fired for Refusing Flu Shots!!

Great Grandmother fired from the CAP Healthcare program in Davie County North Carolina. She was told she must comply with a new policy that she take the seasonal and H1N1 flu shots, or get a doctors exemption. I would like to make the populace of Davie County aware that the Davie County Hospital has made it abundantly clear that freedom has been reduced to a historical relic. I am referring to the firing of a 77 year old great grandmother, Bobby Shoaf of Rosewood Lane in Mocksville, who worked for the CAP program for eight years. Mrs. Shoaf is a lifelong Davie County resident who stayed one day a week with her mentally challenged sister, and was employed by the CAP Program, via the Davie County Hospital. Recently she was told that the new hospital policy now requires both the seasonal flu shot and H1N1 swine flu shot, in order to remain employed, unless obtaining a Doctors exemption for health reasons or having a religious reason to abstain. Mrs. Shoaf then contacted her Doctor, Dr Edwards, who wrote a letter on her behalf and stated in his medical opinion Mrs. Shoaf should not take any Flu shots given her potential allergic reaction to it. The family member in which Mrs. Shoaf worked also stated for CAP that they didnt care whether she took the flu shot or not. But despite obtaining a Doctors exemption as requested by Davie County Hospital, she is still being fired for non-compliance. A 77 year old great grandmother who has lived here in Davie County her whole life is being thrown out of work because she dare not submit and comply with the overlords of authority to mandate and control what goes into her body. How ironic it is that the rallying cry of the pro-choice/pro-abortionist movement is "Its my body", what hypocrisy. We are witness to the complete destruction of individual freedom and moving toward a socialistic tyranny one step at a time. Today a great grandmother's way to earn money is destroyed and we as a society do nothing, today our complacency makes the tyrants bolder, tomorrow the victim may not be someone else and this movement of control and manipulation may well come to you. If this is how the Davie County Hospital is willing to treat its own employees, do we really want this hospital as bad as we thought?
