Amazingly enough, since the introduction of "The Balanced Siphon" within the Austrian and French royal courts over a century and a half ago, there has yet to be a machine that even comes close to matching the marvel and ingenious engineering of the IMPERIAL coffee makers.

This isn't expresso. No crema. I've never heard of siphon coffee but this would be it. The opposite of drip coffee, suck coffee? LOL

Better check the mechanism, the whole point of this type of coffee maker is that the lid of the burner is supposed to automatically close as the tank lifts up, dousing the flame and stopping the process
