Was it just me and where I was standing, or did the sound turn f-ing brutal about half way through, particularly around the whole United States part? My audio boot is completely fucked from Daydream onwards.
"Superchrist" (the new song played just before Come On Let's Go) was by far the best part of the night for me (seatch for the AOL performance). If the next album is gonna be anything like that, the next album is gonna be their best yet.
I too have been a fan for bout 14 years..and I saw them in Dublin that night in '96..and seeing them back again was monumental. Considering that I got to finally hear "Mayonaise" played, that was one of the highlights for me. "Drown" was also special, along with everything else we all knew and loved..
But..I have to say there was a bit of a lull for a little while in the 2nd half, with less known songs played, and a dragged out "United States". I would have loved to have seen Zero,+Disarm played.
Was incredible when this song started. Very special moment for me. Been a fan for roughly 14 years and it was the first time to see the pumpkins live. My eyes were teary but I had a huge smile on my face. Hard to decribe the emotion accurately, but I'll never forget it. The pumpkins were the soundtrack to my "growing up". I Love them. Fantastic gig.
Nice variety from every album. 2 and a half hours of bliss. LEGENDS! Thankyou SP.
