Whenever I watch Hvorostovsky on youtube I can't help reading the comments and I get pissed off almost every time! People discussing how well or badly he interprets pieces or even his voice and technique... he's voice is not huge, he doesn't do this or that in the right way. Excuse me but to discuss such a greatness as Hvorostovsky one must be at LEAST on that level (I don't say more because no one is or will be) Who of you is on the level of Hvorostovsky or half way up there?

Not really.... the efforts of the tenor to sing "sul fiato" don't work... the voice is definitelly not free here, and is actually tied and placed to far back....

Piano singing is an art, which is necesseary for French Opera lyrique. And both singers don't know this art. Kaufmann can not sing piano. He is singing narrow but NOT piano! His voice is dark and sound not free. And they don't sing TOGETHER. In their version it's not an duet it's an duel.
