Hi Elissa yes your cute but not enough light on you to see you my guess is your just shy and that OK I did give you a thumbs up and thanks for you time.
But using green tea is also OK to use and it is healthier then black tea.
You need to cool down the boiling water because the Scoby dose not like hot water over 80.F so I read.
It OK for the Scoby to float on the Bottom it dose happen.
Never use any metal on your Scoby because it will hurt the Scoby or kill it so I read.
hey thanks for the informative approch your helpful im going to "like" this, also sum "raw foodies" recomend not boiling the water, but use a sun method for the tea also using raw sugar, agave, or raw honey! your awsome thanks
you shouldnt use metal, like that folk, the scoby reacts with metal.

Do not use raw honey, unless you want to contaminate everything. It has to be pasteurized.

I've never heard of Kambucha before till this day and your video helped me understand more. Now I want to start making my own.
One question...can you use green tea or any other teas besides black or even Yerba Mate?
Thanks.

But if I don't have a SCOBY ? Will I be able to make kambucha without SCOBY?
