We are machining a flywheel for a Huff & Puff engine on a Doosan MX2500LST multi-task machining center. The spokes are machined by interpolating the X and C axis. Notice how close the right spindle chuck gets to the cutoff tool. There is only about .01 clearance. Amazing how you can make a tiny little part like this on a machine that is nearly 20ft. long. For more information look up Hauff Machine Products on the internet or contact us at hauff@bektel.com. Enjoy the video.
