On New Year's Day it's become a tradition in Scotland for folk to take a dip in the sea (or be ducked in the sea). This has become known as the Loony Dook. Folk dress up for it amd money is raised for charity. The sea is very cold at this time of year too.
This event took place in Dunbar with loads of 'dookers' and spectators. The RNLI (Royal National Lifeboat Institute) members helped with the safety side and a couple of paddle boarders were out as well in the background.
