  • I don't know if it's Lugansky playing too loud or the microphones not being placed correctly but at some moments the piano totally covers the violin.

  • I love how the lady turning the pages of music starts rocking ever-so-slightly when the stacatto part begins....

  • What a spectacular piece of music and so well-played. LOVE IT!

  • @SevenCircles I don't think you fully appreciate the difficulty of this piece. Really, the only time they are even slightly out of sync during that 50-second interval is when Lugansky pushes ahead during the pizzicato section (perhaps he could be more sensitive to the difficulty of the violin part there, but Repin is a sport).
