The Vermillion Coast: Collioure, France

Collioure, France is a perfect place to spend some time on the Med in an area called the Cote Vermeille. Almost in Spain, painters were attracted to this small town and proceeded to immortalize it in their paintings. Derain, Braque, Matisse and Picasso were just a few.

We were here to walk from small town to town both in France and across the border into Spain. But first, two days spent exploring just Collioure.
