These people aren't nearly as Jesus crazy as Coach's cult this season in SouthPacific. Did anyone see the episode when Coach's team won immunity and he screams at them "Get on your knees! Get on your knees at pray to Jesus!!"

That was indeed the right choice. Had he voted out Lydia, he would have had to vote out Steph, Rafe and Jamie next. Then either the Nakum tribe would have been eliminated, Judd first, or the girls would have united with Danni, Blake and Bobby Jon.

However, Judd did not do the right choice because of the game, he wanted to betray out of spite, ot hatred. That is not good gameplay.
