A look at the 2010 Dodge Viper ACR's production-car, lap record lap of 7:12.13 at the world-famous 12.9-mile Nurburgring Nordschleife track in Germany, Sept. 14, 2011. Veteran GT driver Dominik Farnbacher was at the wheel for the lap, which beat the previous record by two seconds.

  • no electronic aids is why i love my viper, either you can drive or you'll probably die!!!

  • sounds and looks SEXY !!.. would love to know what it got at the end of the fence though.. i dont like cheaters/liars ..

  • I need to run this video every once in a while at full volume, it's kind of like therapy hearing that Viper V10 being unleashed at full tilt! It just NEVER gets old!

  • @Nicklius4u2 Mind you though the Viper IS A STUNNING ROCKET PRODUCTION CAR....

  • Nissan GT-R times the lap from END of blue wall (on the right) to END of blue wall.

Viper starts timing from END of the blue wall (on the right) and finishes the lap at the BEGINNING of blue wall...... Wouldn't call it cheating but they should do the same with the other cars as well..... AND THEN tell which PRODUCTION car is THE FASTEST at Nurburgring....... It is only fair right????

  • what a car.... been a viper maniac ever since i was like 15?

    I'm 25 now

  • All I can say is Awesome!!!!! Viper all the way!!!

  • @Limaging

same pagani R did , i guess that's for not street legal vehicles

  • I did notice that the GT-R and LFA laps use the same (end of fence to beginning of fence) timing markers, but the FXX seems to start and stop using the ending fence timer.

  • uhmm...did anyone happen to notice that the timer starts at the end of the blue fence, but is tripped as done at the beginning of the fence some 3 seconds before the lap is completed?
