  • Do not leave gaps in Pressure treated southern yellow pine because it will shrink on it's own and then the gaps are way to big. Even when doing decks do not leave a gap. Gapping is for hardwood like Fur or redwood where the wood is not prone to shrinkage and settleing moisture could create a mold/rotting situation. Southern Yellow pine shrinks substanialy. All joints should be glued and screwed and in some cases doweled to keep them tight. Host needs to wear ear protection.Great video. I sub'd

  • what was the color of paint ?

  • Thanks for the entertainment!

  • Exelente como siempre, seria bueno una version subtitulada en español.Saludos desde Argentina.

  • One more comment. I would suggest leaving a small gap between each slat so any water, moisture etc can drain through and not stand on the chair if the chair is to be used out of doors.

  • I appreciate the great video on how to build this chair. I'm going to build the kids version. One thing I would suggest is to round over the seat slats before you cut them to length. Easier to round over the long piece in a few passes passes instead of 32 short passes. Once that is done then cut them to length. This is especially good to do if you are using a router instead of a router table as it is hard to balance a router on that narrow piece of wood. My two cents worth. Thanks
