The Million Dollar Hotel - American trailer

The Million Dollar Hotel follows the supposed murder of Izzy Goldkiss (Tim Roth). FBI Agent Skinner (Mel Gibson) is sent into investigate the crime, and to weed out the killer. When he reaches the 'hotel', he comes across many of the forgotten types of people living in the city. You have Geronimo, who is a self proclaimed Native American artist. Dixie, played with great gusto by Peter Stormare, as the 'fifth' Beetle that is still waiting for his royalty payments, as well as recognition. Eloise, who is the neighborhood 'whore'. And then there is Tom-Tom, played by Jeremy Davies. He's the center of the story, being that he's the 'village idiot' of the bunch, and has the trust of everyone in the Hotel. Agent Skinner has a few days to find out who the killer is, while the residents of the hotel devise a scheme to sell off Izzy's fabled 'Tar Paintings'.

From this day forward, after having seen this movie, I am going to start carrying a knife with me. If I meet anyone who says they like this movie, or hear in passing a human being over the age of 12 say he or she likes this movie, I will promptly take out this knife and stick it in the kidneys of this idiot. This was a movie about rich actors trying to act indigent and eccentric. I had to watch five hours of splatter porn just to get this emo trash out of my head. Jovavich is hot though.

INdeed, this movie is awesome. I saw it on HBO, years ago.....and watched it as often as possible, it has so many truths in it, eccentric,insane,funny mix.. Hitchcock meets the cohen bros... The best part of my comment, is that I picked it up a few days ago at the local mall for 4$. Yep! and its worth it. All the comments here about this trailer not doing the movie justice are RIGHT-ON.

@apuoks Dude I was just about to say that. This trailer makes it look like a terrible movie. Its completely different. I actually watched this last night for the first time and it is seriously one of my favorite movies of all time. Not enough people know how to enjoy films like these.
