ya well, this is a highland competition, so I have to have celtic music, I tried doing just the poem but it was dull and boring so i added this music so it would have celtic theme

I actually didnt have a choreo outfit so I  took a dress that I used for a grade 10 semi formal dance that I bought at le chateau. I added a tartan sash around the front to incorporate celtic. there is a beautiful thistle pin in the front. I don't mind it considering how last minute it was!

Beautiful...personally I wouldn't have used quite as much modern-y-stuff at the beginning and end, but I tend to be pretty traditional even about choreographies. And I understand the use of the poem in conjunction with Highland, most people who don't enjoy Highland don't get it. Its not as outwardly expressive as some other forms, so I've gotten a fair amount of criticism when using it in expressive pieces, but I still love it, and won't stop just because other people don't get it :)
