On a windy afternoon, with the sun darting in and out of the clouds, we get a great view of the railroad action at Kramm from the side of Table Mountain Blvd., east of Oroville, California on February 26, 2009.

A Union Pacific KOAMN double stack intermodal train has lost it's head end power, the UP #5520, and the crew works to solve the problem as DS 10 runs an eastbound BNSF manifest around them on the siding,
GE C44-9W #4733 leading.

  • And LOL at the BNSF overtaking a UP in the siding.. mechanical breakdown will be the ONLY reason this will ever occur.. I assure you..

2 X LOL "Hope you have a better day" says the BNSF crew... priceless.

  • lol

  • Wow.. what a great vid.. 5*s... I love this time of the year when the fields are turning green.. great lighting.. and how you lucked out to get the shots with the sun out (for the most part).

all those shots from that one spot, right?

I'd like to feature this vid on the Canyon Stream page, if thats okay.

  • Cool wit me.

  • Great spots for taking videos, if only that street wasn't there.
