  • That will do your blacking a lot of good, and I pity any plastic you past, the ice will pierce their hull.

  • I'm very sorry we've upset you.

  • If u read the boating handbook it clearly states NOT to navigate through ice, as u shove it through other peoples boats and into locks causing damage.

  • I'm very sorry we've upset you. I

  • Canals I would say at points vary from very shallow to about 10 to 20 feet deep, it really depends where it is and how much traffic goes through it, (oh and when it has last been dredged).

Canalised Rivers such as they Wey Navigation are different and can be MUCH deeper in places.

  • Sure is...but I don't mind

  • Brings back happy, though cold memories!

  • That was awesome... by the way, how deep is the average canal? or is that a dumb question? //*u*\\

  • It certainly is , went boating new years day on Tafelberg with our new engine - it was so cold we were "FORCED" to stop at the pub twice

  • Hah, that is excellent! It is bloody cold here in the UK at the moment isn't it.
