Observation(s):
- The story of the texting jeep
Conditions: Mild, low teens, Celsuis
Date/Time: Thursday, 16 Jul 2009
Current Road Toll:

What: Driving Diary (12 month experimental project)
Where: South Australia
Why: To record 12 months of my life driving, and in the process reflect on my own driving behaviour and to possibly highlight how other ppl's behaviours can impact negatively on us. Accidents can be so easily avoided.
Sound: I only keep one CD in the car and change that weekly, so there will be some repetition. GPS also makes a few sounds and audible directions.
This is for educational (not punitive) purposes, it is my belief that citizens shouldn't police other citizens.

I rarely ever use my mobile phone while I drive. I have it with me, just in case someone needs to call me, but I never use it until I pull over to the side of the road.

Wow, amazing video! Yeah, crazy driving by that four wheel drive. He or she was either texting or fiddling around drunk. Great to see your channel going strong, and as always I love seeing Adelaide. 5 Stars !!!

So that's what I look like when I'm surfing the internet or texting while driving... Oh hang on. Just had a crash. Back in a minute to finish the comment...
Ok I'm back...
Good catch. It's scary to see them that bad. I've seen the same with people using their sat nav.
Thankfully a soft curb at 2:12

I don't think a law on txting would stop anyone here in Cali. I see Teens and even some business ppl texting at least once everyday, a majority on the highway too. I guess a lot of people just dont have common sense....Grats on the 100th vid ^^

Do this in the UK and you could get a £60 fine and 3 points on ur licence. Doesn't deter some people though.

Most of our states are making texting while driving (TWD) illegal. It is a shame that they have to make laws to stop idiots from doing this. My compliments on an excellent video capture.
