i would recomend one of those power supply's that have wires that you can add and remove to tidy it up the inside if your worried about the inside i fliped the hard drive and have it mounted backwards so the power is in the front of the case and hid what ever wires left behind the drive bays i am happy with what it:D

question
an electronics store near my dads work has a bundle going on;
intel core 2 quad Q8200 @ 2.33gh
western digital 500 gb hd
$150 U.S.
good deal ;yes or no

@shawnygz I would say it's a good deal. I have used the Q8200 CPU and it's a fine chip. The WD hard drive is probably a green....but it's still a good deal. It should be fine for normal use. It's not a hardcore gaming setup, but it will give you years of use. All the best. Good luck!

Might want to just get a new fan. I built a pc with my friend last night and his had those molex connectors, but it-itself was only plugged as an attachment. His board has mad fan slots, and we didn't use any of the molex stuff on the power supply, popped off the adapter and went straight from the board :D

Thanks very much. I have been VERY impressed with the Q8400. The WD500 Black IS a little noisy. More than the Blue series, but it does not bother me. It's a great drive.
