Xone DX Traktor Pro

Just having fun with the Xone Dx and Traktor Pro.
I'm using a complex mapping that allows to pull out FX presets. Depending on the preset (and the related modifier or modifier's state) it calls the chosen Fx(s), set parameters, assign Fx unit(s) and give control either with the jogwheel and/or the rotary encoder/push button next to it.
A lot of the midi mapping ideas came from the Dj Techtools' website. Check them out!

Do u know if the xone dx's midi in / out ports on the back work when using traktor?

They are not supported by serato itch!!!

So I'm either going to run traktor and the dx or take the dx back and pick up an S4, as I believe the S4 /Traktor can split the midi and send time code!

@MrBoxxed I think so I was using another midi controller with it and the both units where receiving messages from each other. As for the s4 you'll need the scratch upgrade. I'm not sure about the s4 reading midi messages when in native/hid mode. You better get a confirmation from another source for both infos.

@TheEissman Reloop must be respected as a brand, but I tend to choose high end products, not entry or middle range ones. But it's not the gear that makes the skill anyway so use whatever feels right for you (and that you can afford).

@Yul303 In all the flipping back and forth between your S4 and DX vids, I misspoke... it was your DX that had the customized skin. Sorry.

Can I ask why your opinion on the Reloop products? Just curious.

@TheEissman You're welcome. What are you talking about when you mention customisation are you talking about the coloured knobs and faders or the mapping? If you mean the knobs & faders you can get ones from DJTT's webstore and if you talk about mapping I always do my own.
