it is for the best, I'm tired of the gangs using my garage doors as their graffiti calling card. It cost money to keep it clean....my home insurance try to cancel because they think the spray paint is a fire hazard. I don't like this gangs...good way to get rid of this scum. As a Mixed teenager born and raised in Echo Park, I know it has changed for the better. I remember when parents on my street, also Caucasian, did not allowed their children to play outside or walk up and down the street by themselves. Today, we can do that. This neighborhood has changed for the better, as it has a lower crime rate and safer streets in general. Personally, I enjoy the old Mexican markets/taco trucks, AND the bookstores/cafes.

I cant stand the racist whining. Los Angeles is a big world class multinational city. If you don't like people that are not of your own race, perhaps you should move to a more homogeneous area, where every one else is just like you. By the same token, greedy landlords of every race need to be exterminated!!
