@CrossMultiplication you sure said it well. Me too. I love love Xavier Rudd. Not for one second do I pay attention to the lyrics of stupid songs once I have heard them. it is actually sad. Black Sabbath wrote about politics. Xavier Rudd about aborigines and the earth and greed and homeless... which i so much better than selfish oh la la..and one of my friends (Fleetwood mac fan) pointed out that some of them dont' even play instruments. At the end of the day.... we shouldn't read too much into the lyrics of anything that gets radio play.
I go to see a lot of live bands....I like the grass roots stuff and there's some good bands out there. There's also a lot of good musicians that just play covers because that's what most arseholes want. If it isn't famous then people don't like it..... It's too difficult to appreciate.

@CrossMultiplication not sure what you meant. I complimented the song Echo Beach...as very refreshing these days. My routine is work and it's not complicated some routine is complicated..some feelings are complicated.. Great song. Lots of crap sung these days I will stick to that.. some old days were too.. but especially these days.. count how many "I" s " me"'s in the lyrics. you and me.. I want. etc.. ,mostly to do to with scratching their own arses.love etc. Routine is good at times.
