Bringing back all the hits from the 50s and 60s, The Jackson Symphony reminisces on the early Rock and Roll era with The Platters featuring the Legendary Monroe Powell. This last concert of The Jackson Symphony's "Red Hot Adventure" season will be presented Saturday, April 12, 2008, 7:30 PM at the Carl Perkins Civic Center. Doors open at 5:30.

Only the Original lineup is legendary. No Tony, no Zola, no legend.

Why is he "legendary?" He wasn't on any of their big hits, and, after Tony left, they only had a few minor hits with Sonny Turner in the lead. Powell? What has he done????
