The full-length video features the history of the site at Broom Road, Teddington as far back as the late nineteenth-century, long before the big and small screen made use of the location next to Teddington lock.
I'm currently having a clearout of my prized television collection and currently have this full length video, as purchased from the authors, for sale on ebay. If you are interested in bidding, just search for user 'abpc' on the ebay site.
@topofthepopsguy I believe that the recordings on VR-1000s were backwards compatible with later 2" colour VTRs.
You may be able to ask the BBC or the National Film & TV Archive.

Unless I am very much mistaken that looks like the first Ampex VR-1000 series 2in b/w broadcast VTR.Would love to see what was comprised on that reel that was being laced on the machine, probably long gone now would imagine sadly.I actual;y have a small 2in reel from an ex ampex service engineer with the date 1959,only three years after video was around profesionally! Makes this somewhat of a historical item now!Anyone have a working VR-1000 to transfer this to a modern format?
