Its anonymous for Turkish sources because its very old Aegean melody sung by ordinary folks, no one knows who wrote it first.
I just google`ed the person you said. Wikipedia says he started composing songs around 1910. He cant be the composer of this song because this song has been definitely written much earlier than that. I think most Aegean folk tunes like that are dated back to late 18th century or early 1800s when people performed those with one simple instrument
