The ending was basically a confirmation that II-Sun loved Young-goon. She said that if the lightening didn't work she would just give up. He wanted her to give up so he put the cork at the top of the rod to make sure she couldn't get electrocuted.

this movie gives a great lesson in life...
it always reminds me that there is always someone who will care for you when no one seems too...that he will do anything for you just to keep you alive...and he will always understand you and will always listen to you..rain showed it in the movie.

I bought this movie today, and I just finished watching it :) It was so weird and interesting. I really liked it ^^ and Rain was adorable xD

Yeah, I didn't understand the ending either, but I laughed a lot when I saw the cork. Yeah, can somebody tell me why Il-sun (Rain) said,

"Many things are wet besides our socks" or something along the lines of that. "Our socks aren't the only things wet."

I just ordered it yesterday online. Can't wait to get it!
