Mage Lowata Oba Wadina Thura - Neela Wickramasinghe - Sinhala Love Song

This is one of the most innocent if not emotional love songs broadcast on Radio Ceylon and written by Ajantha Ranasinghe.
Neela Wickramasinghe comes out with her almost nightingalic voice.
If I remember this song came back in the late 1970s and I am not sure who composed the music for this track though my memory says that it was by Rohana Weerasinghe.
Ranasinghe who has composed many romantic songs for Neela and none so better than this one in my humble opinion.

Thanks for sharing this Neela's classic. I am not sure if this is the first version. It is quite close, but I don't remember percussion on the original song.

I got this recorded from a friend in Radio Ceylon in the 1990s along with a few others (better quality) and this may well be a later version. When the FM stations started in the 90s some of the songs were re-recorded by the RC and this may be one of those.

I am not very sure whether this is the original as I got it recorded from a friend in Radio Ceylon back in the 1990s. It is good quality perhaps a later version.
